Hello,

I have emailed my teacher who hasn't replied so i thought i ask here.

I am doing my topic on Che Guevara yet still having a bit of trouble coming up with a topic. I have been reading yet I feel I am confused myself. It is due Wednesday (proposal) so I have worked on it a bit (by that i mean making notes).

I thought maybe i could do it on - how attitudes have changed over time towards Che Guevara?

I find it difficult to look for a debate regarding che, or maybe i am not researching properly. I posted this here btw because i assume no one really checks the history ext section.

Well there's four areas you can draw your question from-I'd say with Che Guevara, you'd ask a question to do with differing perspectives, or perceptions changing over time.

Just know it's important to write a concrete proposal, even if you change your mind later, you just want a good mark for your first assessment.

With perspectives changing over time, I am looking for some resources yet how do I find something relating to changing perspectives? Or maybe I have to look harder.

Someone also told me about arguing 'communist or liberator'...? - but i don't know if that makes sense.

With the question of attitudes changing over time, it seems typical and what if someone else has done it already?

Yeah, you could do "Communist or liberator" because there would be historians portraying him in either light.

^Most personality based history projects are about differing perspectives. I've heard about two people doing a project on Che Guevera in the past... but as it's internally marked you shouldn't be deterred. If your teacher's happy with the topic, that's what matters. Like before I dropped, I was doing something on differing perspectives on Sueharto.
