Just a few quick questions regarding honours, particularly finance honours.
How does one traditionally stucture their degree around the pre honours subjects? They are now 3 cp's, do you generally overload 3 cp's for a semester? (or all semesters doing these pre-honours subjects?)
Do these cp's count towards 1. Your degree on the whole (ie the 144cps) and 2. Your major (ie the 32 senior unit cp requirement to complete a finance major pre 2006).
What is the workload like? High? Tough? I know its 1 seminar a week maybe 1 or 2 hours, not sure about tutorials, but im guseeing its just a big assignment over the course of the semester...
How highly regarded is honours in the workforce? Is it THAT useful? Would the extra honours year be better spent gaining work experience etc..
And yeah that about wraps it up, any replies would be appreciated (although im not expecting many 3rd yrs or honours students to perouse these boards regularly, but worth a try. Even if you dont have 1st hand experience but have some knowledge pls reply, anyway thx.)
What I know about pre finance honours subjects (one 1st hand account) "they're shit, all theory and stuff boring as and a waste of time"...
