To study ancient history, you will need to undertake an arts degree with the relevant major.

You have the option of Ancient History - Egypt and Near East or Ancient History - Greece, Rome and Late Antiquity

From then on, you are still able to able to complete honors in ancient history provided you have an overall GPA of 2.50 and a GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) for level 300 subjects according to this.

While I'm using the Macquarie University website to make these conclusions, I would still strongly advise you to contact an advisor and double check the above before making any decisions.
