A diploma takes 1 to 2 years full time.
There are 36 weeks in a TAFE year, 18 per semester.

So taking 830 hours over 36 weeks(1 yr) would give you around 6 hours a day for 4 days a week. or around 5 hours if they make you attend 5 days a week, this is considered full time by TAFE and centrelink. Although they could drop the number of attendance hours required if you meet some of the outcomes already. Each campus varies on what days and number of hours per day.

You need to double check if that is a start to finish diploma (usually 1.5-2yrs duration) or whether they expect you to already have a Cert IV (usually 1 yr duration).

If it's from start to finish you will be doing Cert 2, 3 & 4 modules for the first year and then the diploma in the second. If they expect you to have a Cert 4 you just do the diploma modules. The application guide/tafe website would tell you the situation on this, let me know what course and if you can't find it i'll have a look as their website sucks and can be hard to navigate.
