How did they get into usyd law (1 Viewer)

So ik this person who got a 98.95 atar last year and is currently doing usyd law (no transfer). I’m like 99% sure they are not low SES / financially disadvantaged or any of those circumstances.

are there any other schemes that usyd gives out for law cause I thought they didn’t give any extra points?

Oh I don’t think it’s that cause they went to like one of the top selective schools in the state and was not school cap
wow maybe bro just got in by luck or something that is impressive if they weren't eligible for any schemes because typically usyd is very strict if you're under 99.5 and aren't eligible for extra points.

i know someone else who got in although they had a high 98 atar not sure exactly what their ATAR was, but they got points through one of the performance/sports things i think?

dux captain state sport all drop to 98. low ses/financial disdavntage is loop-holeable, there may also be other circumstances. sub-99.5 without some type of adjustment does not exist as far as im aware, eg .45s get rejected
