For people who got like 45-50 for their major work what uai's did you get? did it help you alot? were your other subjects average and you got a reasonable uai? I'm relying on my major work to pull me through, so..

a girl in Yr 12 last year got 99.95 UAI and got 49 for EE2. She's very intelligent though.
I imagine EE2 scales you up somewhat but it's no good relying on it and letting your other subjects go slack - at the end of the day, it's only one subject - you're going to have to do well in at least a few to really start hoicking your UAI up! My theory anyway... If it wasn't for 2/3/4U english, I'd be absolutely screwed...

According to SAM, Ext 2 has helped me out a bit. 
i reckon that its the wrong motivation to do EE2 purely for UAI purposes... but its up to the individual to call.
According to SAM, EE2 has helped me out a lot too, making up for my okish marks in Music. The subject scales extremely well -- look at the threads on Laz's raw marks for confirmation of that....
