So I've been offered a degree from USYD. Now what?

I understand that I have to enroll by attending the date/time designated by my course and last name.

Will I choose my subjects on that day? How should I prepare: Just read the guidebook and make a list of subjects I like?

You've pretty much figured it out.

Have a good idea of how you've got your units planned out for the year and bring them to enrolment. You will have the opportunity to talk to staff at the faculty as part of the day where you can discuss other options if need be. For example, the question you had in General University Discussion can be also asked to a staff member at enrolment and you can discuss with them any queries you may have.
