Ok, I have had a lot of people tell me that it is very difficult to get an ATAR above 98 in the HSC. But similarly i've had the same experience before the school certificate (lol yes i know school certificate), with people telling me that it is pretty difficult to get a band 6 in every subject. But yet I proved them wrong and did it last year and to say the least it wasn't difficult at all. I didn't touch a book for maths, english or science. Whilst all I did was a quick skim over previous course notes from earlier on in the year for History and Geography and I got 99 and 98 respectively in each. I barely studied for either of them so it was surprising!:thrust:

But seriously guys/girls........How hard can above 98 be?

It's difficult to get all band 6's in school cert? lmfao. You can't compare it to the HSC.

LOL you're not the only one to get band 6s without studying. Seriously the school cert is joke. It is not an indicator of performance in the HSC

As for the difficulty of 98, many people will tell you different things. It depends on a persons ability and willingness to study. For example some people here will be aiming for 99.7 and others wont be able to reach 90 no matter how hard they tried. I however think that 98 is very achievable with consistent effort throughout the year.
