Hey, I know holidays are nearly over, but i really need advice on what i should be doing to study for my subjects (for the rest of these holidays, and during the term)
  • Math Advanced
  • English Advanced
  • PDHPE
  • Legal Studies
  • Biology
So far, I have gotten ahead in legal studies (I have now finished Human rights and crime), and am a little ahead for math (finished calculus and trig), and am working on ahead for PDHPE (finished health of yp (option1), and halfway through health priorities in au), and barely done anything for bio (lowkey hate it, might drop it tho so i didn't bother doing much of it)

So should I continue learning ahead, or just revise on past content. also i have heard that some people are already starting past papers, but like how? i have barely learnt content for hsc stuff?

I can help for eng adv and bio.
English Adv:
- Do all you required reading now. Ideally you'd want to be on the second or third re-read when u go through it as a class. U pick up more details
- Start practice writing now. Do some essays and responses under timed conditions. Writing is a skill which can't be obtained through cramming.
- Get familiar with your texts and its authors
- go through prelim stuff to identify what u did wrong/poor in. Focus on fixing those problems from now

Bio: (Same as english ++)
- Have a read through the modules and make a glossary of terms you don't know/aren't familiar with
- Go over prelim content. A lot of HSC Bio builds on prelim content. If your foundation isn't strong, everything will seem foreign and you will struggle.
- Get a head-start on mod 7/8, theyre quite heavy and long

Depending on what degree or career u want, bio can be useful to keep.

math just practice and do past paper questions on topics you've done for english im kinda cooked cause i just started reading my book and havent done any practice essays for common mod which u prob should. and about the past papers what i do is once i finish a mod or finish a dot point as im studying, i start going thru all papers and do the relevant questions

Do a little bit every day. Even if it 5 minutes. Slow and steady, and don't let the stress get to you its 100% not worth it and not that deep. You got this.
