Released Wednesday 15 December 2010 at 6 am

You will require your student number and HSC pin.

Online

Register by sending a text message from your phone to 0427 659 900 with your Student Number, followed by a space and your HSC pin. You will then receive a text message containing your results at approx 6am Wednesday. (Your phone must have available credit and space in its inbox)

ATAR
Released Thursday 16 December 2010 at 9 am

Visit http://www.uac.edu.au/

You will need your UAC application number or HSC student number and UAC PIN. (The UAC pin is different from the HSC pin)



Written notices of results and ATAR will arrive in the mail from Friday 17 December 2010.

Do they normally publish hsc results and/or atar in the newspaper?cos i think they did it a couple of yrs ago

HSC Results and ATARs are NOT published publicly.

What is published in newspapers are lists of the top 5-20 students in a course, distinguished achievers (those with band 6), and all rounders (Band 6 in 10+ units).

What is the UAC application number? I can't seem to find it on any letters that I got given!

^^ it is your student number, with a "1" at the front. The UAC website has a description of it.
