Hi there. I have my history ext exam tomorrow. I am one of two people in the class so its a major test or ranks!!
Looking at the 2011 HSC Question, the question being "To what extent do historians 'own' historians", Support your augment with sustained integration of the Source (Eric Foner - 'Who Own's History', 2002) and at least TWO other sources, how would one answer the question? What is the examiner looking for.
The historians I know best are Chris Hill, Ranke and Herodotus and Bede (obligatory inclusion of 'the Venerable'). I am confident, even though it does not concern the history project, in my other historians AJP Taylor and David Blackbourn/Geoff Eley (Marxist historians on Germany, the Sonderweg thesis). Should I include them?
Generally, what is the marker looking for in section 1? (And if your kind, what are they looking for in Q2? I did Churchill).
