A single mother and two younger siblings.

Some days... It's fine and I study great.
Then some days.. especially my exams when i get all moody and bitchy.
My entire FAMILY decides they want to argue about something.
Like who gets the last ice blocks or why aren't I washing the dishes.

Sometimes. I actually stop studying and want to go out or something.. and THATS when mum decides i should be studying and not mucking around and does all she can to make sure the house to quiet.

I need a one room house for the next nine months... Or a cave.

HOW DO YOU COPE??

Go outside and wait for the family to calm down.

Besides and 80+ ATAR aim is pretty doable with a disruptive family. My family is just like yours and my aim is 90+.

Really? :( I hope so.
Although, the 80+ is only me trying to lower my expectations so i dont get disappointed if i dont get 90+

I REALLY WANT 90+

:'(

Well 90+ is pretty doable with my subjects but for your subjects it's a bit of a different story.
If the OP is fairly competent and does well in all her subjects, she will be able to achieve over 90.

There isn't much difference between achieving over 90 ATAR with your subjects, and achieving over 90 ATAR with her subjects. Essentially, it really depends on individual strengths/weaknesses.

Find quiet time to study - your own room (+ headphones), a local library, the school libarary, or even libraries in the city (State Library/Fisher Library).

Key thing is just to make spaces and time for yourself, undisturbed and away from interruptions.

If you believe you have a legitimate claim, you should apply through the EAS scheme for disadvantage.

My family is worse than that, lol, so I know how you feel.
What I try to do is spend as much time as possible at school.
Like, go really early to school, and leave as late as possible.
School is a nice study-environment :)
And yeah, like ninety and h3ll h0und, I'm aiming for 99+ too.
Anything's possible! Carpe diem! Heh :)

Have you tried sitting them down and explaining to them how important the year actually is?
Talk some sense into them and see what happens :)

They might not listen if they reckon OP's aim is unrealistic.
I think the thing is...
I've always been within the top 3 in my school, academically so it puts this image in my family's head that I can do anything under any type of pressure sorta thing.

They probably think i'm some sort of genius. :(
