how to make up backup copy files (1 Viewer)

i wanted to know how to do that, i dont really know much about computer drives...
and incase i have a major virus and shuts down my computer and my programs
and needed to do system recovery and clean up my computer, is there a way to do that and i wont lose all my data, saved documents and refresh my windows?

To keep things simple with one hard drive, you can always regularly burn any important files on a rewritable DVD or CD. Anything multiple hard disk or disk partition solutions would be more technically involved...

to be safe 1st of all..the best thing to do is to take precautionary measures b4 anything can happen...defrag your computer, do virus scans, delete any unwanted files regularly....format disks once in a while..after which use CD-RW's DVD-RW's..and burn ur improtant files regularly....

If you have an ipod or similar for example, you can use it as an external hard drive and copy your most important files to it as backup (Using the free space not taken up by music)
