Hi guys! Just wondering how one would go about preparing for an in-class creative writing assessment, in which we are unaware of the stimulus/question.

Pre-prepared, versatile stories get good marks. Original stories get good marks. The stories needs to connect to the stimulus in only the smallest way.

With those above 3 points you can probably guess that the best way to study for creative writing is to have a couple original stories under your belt and then keep doing practice papers to help you improve general technique along with improving your ability to connect the stimulus to the story.
