HSC Assessments- Thoughts/Results (1 Viewer)

I just got a few results back:
Maths 2U - 87.5% (35/40) Equal 1st/17
Pretty happy with that, considering I got full marks for question 1-6, and only 2/7 for question 7. It was really strange, I'd never seen it before and I didn't know how to go about it.

English Extension 1 - 80% (8/10) Don't know my position
Pretty happy with this too, haven't been doing too well in Ext 1.

Maths (2unit) - 40% (Class average is only slightly higher)
Visual Arts - 80%
Hospitality - 94%

My Rankings:*

Adv English - 7/32
Business Studies - 3/17
Maths (2unit) - 12/15
Visual Arts - 3/14
Hospitality - 1/10

*as of last report. Not including recent rankings or marks.

I have done a lot better in my assessments since last term. Scoring higher in all subjects except maths

(Last English assessment I came first with 14/15 )

Regardless of how poor I am doing in comparison to most of you, I am still confident I will do well.

urgh I wish I felt that way about myself

Anyhoo I got 18/20 (90%) for my Studies of religion ISP, in which it took me 2 days and 2 nights to complete.

maths (general) - 85%, ranked something like 5th or 6th out of 67. pretty happy...anything over 70's in maths is fine by me

hey good on you. You managed to get at least 2 band 6s. If you got that in the HSC exam, your UAI would be scaled up heaps *jealous* But yeah, you do kind of need to raise your english marks up a little, just basically practice doing essays during these two weeks of holiday. But your ranked 9th in english, which would prolly mean that you sat a really hard exam.

umm for that particular assessment I got ranked 3rd outta 17 people, but I'm coming first overrall. yay.

yeah that's prolly the reason why nobody was motivated to do well in that exam lol Cos I know that I'd do the same thing i.e study harder for those exams that will actually get counted.

16/20 in legal: very unhappy... I lost marks just because I didn't have enough issues discussed in my essay, whereas I fulfilled the criteria requirements for an A level response... very frustrated.
20/20 in SOR: ultimate fluke of my life
19/20 and 20/20 in Maths 2u and 3u: meh, easy assessments
