Does the HSC exam consist of the preliminary course + the HSC course? or is it just HSC course only?

As far as I'm aware, this is only the case for Mathematics.

Yes, just maths, everything else is HSC ONLY. Whew.

You only get assessed on the HSC course. However many of the things you learn in the preliminary course you will further expand in HSC so if you don't know the basics well then boo hoo
