Usyd SDD Enrichment day

Anyone going to the USyd one on the 24th June?

have a look at the resources section for sdd, they have the notes from last years enrichment day for sdd.....

u basically get the booklet of ntoes and stuff, and they go through them..... with like tips for the hsc exam

For the last two years they've had this retarded guy that was part of writing the syllabus and he tries to trace through the standard sorts with pseudocode algorithms.

In 2001 he stuffed it up and accused the audience of being wrong
Last year he stuffed it up again with the same set of notes that had the same mistakes in it.

Wonder if he'll be back this year?

ahhaha and my sdd teacher talks about how good the sdd syllabus is... and things like ergonomics are important

So.. who went today?

Dontcha think Mr. Greening was one funny bastard.

the first guy sucked. i was barely staying awake. not to mention the freezing cold weather.

2nd guy was very informative and charismatic!

3rd guy was friggin funny with those pictures which didn't have much to do with algorithms though i've seen most of them already. he must be a computer junkie
funny part was the rocket launch picture with the 4 satelittes blowing up. "4 went up, many more came down" LOL.
i recorded the whole 3rd and 4th lecture on my MD

4th lady was pretty confident. had good voice and knew what she was talking about
