How does the HSC measure up to VCE and the QLD system, in terms of how kind it is on students? I know this is a highly subjective topic, and that this question is very broad, so I'm not expecting much more than brief overviews. If anyone could give me any facts/stats on this subject, however, I'd be stoked
Specific Qs: How is assessment orchestrated for each of VCE, QLD?
I know the subjects differ, but does the same fundamental content endure?
How does a leaving score in one state translate to a uni entry requirement in another (esp. for both VCE and QLD back to NSW)?
Which is fairest?
Which state favours exams the most, as opposed to internal assessments?
How are subjects chosen in VIC and QLD (as in, NSW has a units system - how about the others?)
Does Year 12 run from Term 1 to 4, like VIC, in QLD, or from Term 4 to Term 3 of the next year, like NSW?
That's about it. Thanks heaps!
