if lets says i score a consistent 80% throughout my subjects which are: economics, business, legal, general maths, advanced english, in my in school assessment mark. In a relatively well performing school do i still have the chance to score a UAI of over 90 if i perform well in the actual HSC. Or must you operate in a average of 90% in your in school assessment in order to score well in he HSC

You certainly do not need to get 90% + to achieve a UAI greater than 90.

I just passed the 90.00 mark and I know for sure that I didn't get an average of 90 in any of my tests..

No way man. A 90 average of scaled marks will get you a UAI of around 96. It certainly does not work on the basis of raw marks=final UAI.

UAI of 90 = you beat 90% of the students.

you need to have an avg of 80% of scaled mark across your subjects. if you dont know EXACTLY what scaled marks mean, then dont compare them with anything.

so as a very general guess, i would think hsc marks of 85 would be ok? very general guesstimate.
