Hello,

I am intersted in studying to become a human resource professional.

Are there any pre-requisite requirements to studying your Human Resource Management courses ?

HR is not an area that we specialise in. Unlike a lot of other colleges or universities we have elected to maintain our focus on Marketing, PR & Event Management which are all inter-related disciplines. That way our reputation in the marketplace (which is to the great benefit of our students & grads) is not diluted by adding on additional courses in un-related fields. We maintain our edge in these fields. The closest we come to HR is in one of our foundation subjects called Business Dynamics. In this subject our students examine the internal operations of business, leadership and HR issues.

My strong recommendation is to get in contact with the Australian Human Resources Institute of Australlia and get some great advice from them before selecting a course. http://www.ahri.com.au/
