My chemistry teacher recommended (told me to) using an entirely new book for chemistry, as my current one was too messy.

"I don't need to see all these scribbles everywhere"	It is art. It enhances the quality of my book work. It gives it pizzazz.
"Is this work you did yourself at home? You don't need this in your school book."	Yes I do. It's literally about what we're doing at school. Why would I not want extra notes in my book.
"Why are you using a grid book for chemistry"	It's more compact. Considering how bloody messy balancing chemical equations can be, I would venture that it's an improvement.
"I'm worried you won't be able to see your work when you go back to revise"	My writing is clear, I have titles and dates. I already had to go back and revise a worksheet I was continuously doing because of how hard I found it. My last year's math book is of a similar quality. I had no issue using it to revise.

u seem like someone who would pull up to a function in a suit (or jeans and a long sleeve oversized plain shirt) bc u dont know the dress code n then say something in english premium, pull all the girls and the function n leave to be never heard/seen from again

Don't get another book for chem. Like they can't threaten to kick you out?
If you can read your own work then DO IT, and if pizzaz makes you work better then DO IT, It's a they problem if they're so fussy abt this.
They're not marking you on your workbook yeah, so dw abt it.

Yeah. I have a really annoying teacher that specified that we must glue in our handouts in our exercise book and we aren’t allowed to to use a seperate folder or a binder and loose leaf paper
