cables r usually provided aren't they?
Alot of the time manufacturers dont provide USB data cables for some reason.

Hopefully they'll come round.

I had the same problems with adding songs when i had the LG8360. You have to set the COM port to the port with a asterisk next to it. This is done through LG phone manager. If your talking about the USB cables, then they should be provided.

Yeh run LG Phone Manager, click the connect button and then select contents.

It's pretty much like windows explorer kind of interface, just copy paste.

I've calculated that the transfer rate from my computer to my lg u8360 is 23KB/sec.

This is awefully slow in my point of view especially when you're putting on about 200MB of music or anything.

I'm using the cable that they gave me in the box and wondering if others have such slow upload speed to the phone as me?

I'm using a 256mb transflash card, which support up to 12MB/sec transfer rate.

More than likely that the phone can't read/write that fast to the memory card. If you're doing this often you'd probably want to get an external memory card reader to do the transfers.

Yeh, if you are using an external memory card then just take that out and slot it into a USB memory card reader (which you can get pretty cheap nowadays and comes with most laptops too) and just copy and paste your songs onto there and put it back into your phone.
