i need advice (1 Viewer)

i don't know if i'm in the right forum but.....

i'm going to uni 4/5 days this year, doing Biological Science

butttttt my ex-tafe teacher emailed me, telling me about this completely unrelated cadetship that i have a fairly high chance of getting

but it probably involves 9-5, 5 days a week
a bit of a problem when theres only 7 days in a week

it sounds like a great opportunity.....i get full training, i already know a lot of the stuff needed to know, and 21k salary in the first year

so i was wondering, is it possible to drop some units, do evening classes.....well ANYTHING to fit this cadetship into my life while not taking 6 years to finish my Biological Science degree?

oh and quitting uni isn't an option (my mum thinks uni = life)

talk to ur co-ordinator about changing to part time studies.

part time students do classes at night, generally 1 or 2 days a week.

im a part timer workin 5 days a week on 25K salary

u dont hv to talk to ur coordinator, jsut hand in the forms and ur done

taking me 5yrs to get my degree but think of it this way

ur gona hv heaps of expereince after u graduate which is gona b so helpful to u and i dont see y u wouldnt take the oppotunity anyway

coz if it doesnt work out just quit ur job n go bak to full time uni. at least u gave it a go

You may get tired but in the long run experience is worth a lot more than a degree. 21K is pretty crappy pay but the experience you gain is priceless. If you find that you can't handle working Full-Time and studying part-time then you can always go back to uni full-time next semester.

someone told me that you gotta finish your couse within 6 years or they kick you out, or something

anyway i got more info about the cadetship.....if i get it, i will be sent to Brisbane for 3 weeks for training and i pretty much start straight away....it's full time work too....

i don't think it's possible for me to accept it if they want to take me on

fucking uni lol fucking biological science shit, i hate it already.
