hi guys
u know i wanted to change the world ( yes im still naieve! )
i thought of joining the military law corps, UN, WHO and all the other well known big organizations (other than the volunteer ones like greenpeace)
but i spoke to a former law graduate now businessman about this stuff and he told me to really think about what im planning to do because the truth is that its hard to change the world as an individual.
so id like ur thoughts on this:
if im in the military,(law officer) i can only act on the orders of the aust gov. but if im very high up: cant i decide how Australias policies are carried out?
he also saidsomething like this: theoretically there's no such thing as international law because it depends on what laws each country decides to follow (mor or less..) . no one cares about international law, because only america decides what goes on around the world.
--------------------------
basically ill need to do more research, i dont really know what else there is for me besides research (science)
he said a law degree serves as a good foundation especially when combined with like commerce, that i agree.
hmmmm, id appreciate any comments
