hi all, i do ib biology sl and am currently beginning the process of my ia (internal assessment). i was wondering if anyone has any ideas for me that aren't overly complicated? ib is quite different from hsc so preferably someone who has been through the ib program

i think at the moment i would like to do something with the human physiology topic as i find it easier to understand (however ethics in this topic are difficult), but am open to any ideas.

Since you would like to explore something related to the Human Physiology course, perhaps a suitable focus would be on exploring how the reaction times of humans get affected with age. You may also wish to investigate how sudden workouts affect the heart rate and baroreceptor feedback. Investigating muscle activity involved when standing on one’s toes (for example, in the case of ballet dancers) also seems like a good idea with respect to Human Physiology.
