Just a suggestion but has anyone tried some of the "Idiot's Guides" for Mod Hist?

There's heaps - the ones I got where:
Vietnam
World War 1
Nazi Germany

And I went from a 45% to a 75% from the trials to the actual exam (I didnt realise these books existed until I finished the trials. Can you imagine the OD of reading I had to do!!!??)
They have a lot of extra stuff you can throw in for more marks and they (for ppl who aren't familiar) get on a good learning level for you.

E.g: I was having trouble with IndoChina and the whole Diem/Ho concepts, but the Vietnam book to make it easier said something like "(after a whole heap of textbook info) Diem was an all out bad guy" I thought that was halarious that they actually wrote that in a "textbook"!!!

My school was begging me for them, so that's where they've ended up now....

Anyone tried them as well????

I just bought the MQ one and I'm gonna look through it today. It's the only one with Conflict in the Pacific option...

I would have put them up for sale, but the school rung my house litterally within the hour I finished my history exams and said if they could have them.....so sorry guys.

Can't think of any other good study guides - that Get smart one was good to get a general idea of what's going on, I know you don't wanna hear it, but excel (complete one not month one) was good, but it's basically identical to Get Smart...

Hmmm......I do remember giving my hist teacher a huge box of history crap.....lemme think what was in it.........
videos from The History Channel - how convenient was that! It had a Leni Riefenstahl and Adolf Hitler Bio about three months before the exams...so I had time to watch them a billion times!....
I know most of the box was full of books from the library - I think all I can say is get a heap of non biased books about each core....so you're getting different views and quotes from everywhere (and gaining more marks from it too!)

ok, now I'm on a mental block...I'll leave it there

ps> avoid the internet stuff at all costs!!! Most sites (unless official ones) are usually wrong or biased (I found one who said Hitler started the war in 1925.....)
