Do we have time to see how many interviews we get and then only attend our top few preferred?
Or would it be smarter to attend all of them in case you stuff some up
Just wondering cause it would be expensive to travel :cool2:

lol no you can't do it over skype. That's for internationals. Furthermore yes you should attend all in case you stuff up.

PS. Loving the confidence even though umat results are still a good 3 weeks away

Woah really?
Do you have any more info/links?
Not actually sure but I've only heard a few friends mention it
I think it is best to be there in person, and although you will have to make some financial sacrifices for an opportunity into your dream course imo it's worth it
I know that (most?) unis usually reserve interviews for interstate applicants until the last round so that they only have to travel if they're guaranteed an interview

One of my student was offered a Monash interview in late January after offers for NSW universities came out. He got UNSW medicine so he didn't attend the Monash interview. Unless you have a firm offer in NSW and you are sure you want that particular university instead of attending somewhere else I would recommend you attend all. It's also a great opportunity to practice your interview skills in a real environment. Some of my other students did not want to go UAdel but their interview was earlier so they used it as practice for other universities such as UWS and UNSW. If money is an issue then go find a job after you finish HSC. Most people's parents should be able to help them out. It's not like you need to stay there for more than 1-2 days.
