include stuff like:
- better technology
- power stations can be located away from population because of the use AC which allows 2 be transformed

disadvantages:
- hydro plants require dams to be built which cause environmental & ecosystem worries within society

ac generators meant that power grids could be built across the nation, and that electricity could become one of the most convenient, cheap, accessible and flexible forms of energy available. The AC meant that not a lot of energy was lost in transmission lines due to resistance in wires (as with DC) and so electricity could be transported to remote areas such as rural communities.

provision of electricity has its own benefits/drawbacks...

in questions u will be asked to look at both, effects(advantages/disadvanteges) on society AND the environment.

SOCIETY
+everything electrically mechanised
+lives made easier

-reduction in unskilled jobs that can be computated
-increase in unemployment

ENVIRONMENT
-burnign of fossil fuels
-pollution
-greenhouse effect
-running out of those fossil fuels

jus some of things u can talk about.
