So.....whens conception day and other fun filled events, cos i seem to keep missing the party ><

friday the 17th. i usually get there late (about 4pm, cause im fashionable .. you know how it is). hehe. otherwise you're drunk by 10am and stuck at uni.

has anyone been to the beat-off thingy on friday nights ... what goes on there?

depends on who you're with. they're all good fun and pretty casual. i went to a toga party once. all my friends are comp sci nerds with little to no social skills, so it was kindof painful. we got there too early too, it said it started at 8 so we went after our lectures that finished at 8. it didnt really get going till 10 though, and i was more than tipsy by then

there was this godawful excuse for a dj, dj boo. she was playing like garth brooks and dire straights. theres no public transport from uni to my house, unless i go on some 2 hour death commute, so i dont go much after hours.

go with friends and its a good time. im a fan of beer bingo as well, thats on about 5pm some nights.

to be honest i find conception day quite boring, and only turn up briefly, if at all. im a bit over rock now, so maybe that has something to do with it. a lot of non uni people come to, which can make things wierd as well.

Thursday night is the big uni bar night. The next one (19th) is Comedy Night!

I can understand that it might be a bit of a transport nightmare, but that's what desig drivers are for...duh!

ticket prrice?
mac students - free, uni students 15, general public 25. so like err how do they check which one you are
and whats the diff with bein a mac student nd a uni student

i assume if you show your student card you get in free - photo identification

err, a mac student is a uni student who goes to mac, a 'uni student' would be a student at any other uni
