could anyone also contrast this timetable with the UNSW timetable because I heard that the UNSW timetable is way more flexible??

you have started a lot of threads lately.

it will depend on what subjects you are doing, and to be honest, timetabling changes every year. You will most likely have class 3-4 days a week. Fridays are generally free (there are no compulsory law subjects held on fridays).

How flexible your timetable is depends on how the course-cordinator decides to structure the classes for the course that year. eg. Foundations of law normally has two, 2hr tutorials per week. This is quite flexible, because lots of tutorials are running, so you can try to switch classes. Some subjects however just have lectures - there may only be two streams, so there isn't much choice. However, some subjects change how they like to structure their class each year (sometimes there will be tutorials, sometimes there won't)- it generally equals four hours per subject per week (for 10 weeks), or 3 hours per subject per week for 13 weeks.

In 4th year law (so after you have finished commerce degree), you can generally get your timetable into two days (9-6 with one hour lunch break). 5th year timetable is completely dependent on what subjects you choose (all electives).

Izzy and Kaz speak truth.

In terms of timetabling, neither uni will guarantee you X amount of days. The general number of days is between 3-4 days a week. If you're unlucky like me, I had to go in 5 days for my first semester because there was only one lecture for each of my subjects, and they were on each of the days.
