hey hey would anybody care to explain what the heck Michael Lind is trying to say in his book "Vietnam: the necessary war" from about page 80 to 104 about some "praetorian critique"??? ive read it over and over again and i really dont understnd what he's trying to get at and how you could use it in an essay/what it relates to...do we even need to know about it? aaaah, please help all you modern history gurus out there i have NO IDEA!!!

umm i donmt have that book, is it ur text book?

Well I've never heard about it, I would say we don't have to know about it, however it could be a useful piece of historiography. Sorry I can't help more!
