can someone help me with intigration

integrate:
(1 + cosx) / (1 + sinx) using t-results

this would be done better multiplying top and bottom by 1 - sinx i think

Shafqat's method works pretty decent but if you need to use t-results:

t = tan(x/2)
dt/dx = 1/2.sec2(x/2)
dx = 2dt/[1 + tan<sup>2</sup>(x/2)]
dx = 2dt/(1 + t<sup>2</sup>)

cosx = (1-t<sup>2</sup>)/(1+t<sup>2</sup>)
sinx = 2t/(1+t<sup>2</sup>)

hence ∫ (1 +cosx)/(1 +sinx) dx
= ∫ (1 + [1-t2]/[1+t2])/(1 + 2t/[1+t2]).2/(1 + t2) dt

Simplify it and have a go form there

In general, when asked to use t-results, must you use them as the first step? Or can you simplify first?
