Hey guys and girls i was just doing the seminar questions and i was having problems with two questions

p58 ALI:

is a federal system more appropriate to Australian society than to that of say, the united kingdom and france?

page 56- 57 ALI:

how secure a form of title is that recognised in Mabo based on the judgement of Mason CJ and McHugh J where they say:

[T]he common law of this contry recognizes a form of native title which, in the cases where it has not been extinguished, reflects the entitlement of the indigenous inhabitatants, in accordance with their laws or customs, to their traditional lands [?].

Thanks for your help

I'm not sure bout the 2nd q for for ur first one i have :

The UK and France are a unitary political system in which political authority is vested in a single sovereign authority for the whole of the Kingdom.

Whereas, federalism involves a complex arrangement of government and legal institutions.

just from the textbook...

um ... I'd just warn you guys not to share answers. Cause someone I knew did that last year and the other person copied his answers, then they were both caught of collaboration - and they failed the subject for it - now they are doing the subject again. Just be very very careful. This even applies to homework questions.

No probs - but lecturers are usually very strick and they will notice the smallest thing associated with plagarism or collaboration.

Usually you don't need to fully reference using the Harvard style - however, what I did was just list the textbooks that I used - just for future reference incase I needed them again.

Lecturers can also tell when two peoples work are the same, even though they use two different styles of writing. I dunno how they do it though

lol. I think I've scared you all too much now :p you can ask other people, but just don't rely on other people to do all your work for you.
