I was wondering what is the domain an range of y= x cos^-1 x^2 ?

yeh that's what he means. I don't think the range is able to be solved by HSC means, but prove me wrong

Where did you get this Q from?

Arcos(x^2) can only go from -1 to 1, so that's the domain. The range could be calculated by differentiation with Newton's Method, I guess...
