The syllibus dot point is:
"deduce the ions present in a sample from the results of tests"
The book goes into a sharade of confusing flow charts and i cant understand any of it.
Is there a SIMPLe way of learning this?
Thanks

The flowchart is probably one of the simplest ways.
All I do is memorise the ion identification tests, then just use common sense
