So has anyone ever failed their half yearlies ONLY, and was still able to achieve an atar in the 90's?
Is it possible?
I've been looking at serveral threads, and people mostly say: It's possible, but not likely.
I'm desperate right now. I want to score in the 90's but I've failed my half yearlies (around 47% has been covered for each subject).
Lets just say I DO climb up hill this time, and score around 90% in the trials and achieve band 6's in the HSC exams. Can I still get an atar in the 90's range?
I'm just thinking has it ever been done- A student starts of failing, but works for it and in the end achieves an atar in the 90's range?
Please let me know, CAN IT BE DONE?
And by fail i mean 30% in most subs.
