I'm not good with this stuff so is it possible to change courses in the same Uni if you didn't like your current course?

Yes, you may change courses by transferring internally (usually after a semester or a year) - that is if you have the necessary marks of course. All the best ~

What if the course is similar?
Say that i'm doing ICT/Business and Commerce double degree course, will the transfer be much faster if i wanted to switch to just ICT itself?

Is this for UWS? I am sure you have the option to drop a degree before the census date of each semester (March 31 for 1st Semester) - but do not quote me on this - not a UWS student... anymore. Good Luck.
