Hey,

Sorry theres heaps of these threads but I really dont get the moderating and scaling of marks.
Anyways I'm an average student in the 60s and 70s with an 80 here and there, just wondering if its possible to get a high ATAR if I study really hard in the weeks leading up to the HSC exams (after assessments are out of the way)

At the moment my Trial results are not helping me at all but I still do have last assessments for some of my subjects

Results from Trials and Ranks from Half Yearly ( sorry if they dont help)
English Paper one 76%, Paper Two 53% 45/52
Maths 66% =32/66
Business 63% =11/45
Ecos 71% 7/17
and Ancient we havent gotten them yet but rank is 9/37

Unless you go to a very good school in the state, I think it will be hard.

ummm what english is that. If advanced then you have a decent chance. However of course is it possible if you went really well in the hsc.

I guess 85 is possible, but it will require a really strong external performance.
