UNSW law was my top preference and i didnt get it this round, i was wondering if it's really worth trying anymore? my atar was 97.80 but my lat was in the 60s and i didnt do eas cause i have no need, so generally i just dont have any adjustment factors. ive heard the lat can't technically bring you down but considering i did really bad in it, and my atar is only just above last year's selection rank, should i just give up i dont know if i really stand a chance in the next round with what i currently have.

I’m surprised you didn’t get in. Is there no guaranteed entry for a 97.7?

i dont think UNSW has guaranteed entry, 97.7 was just the lowest selection rank for last year. it changes depending on intake each year i think. also, i think the state of my lat generally makes me less competitive than other candidates lmao

dont worry too much tbh. i think UNSW is still a little more forgiving but seeing how some people still werent let in with like eas and AAA makes me worried cause i deadass have nothing

i kinda fucked myself with how i ordered my unis but i got into a different course at unsw lol. which is why im considering just getting rid of UNSW and USYD from my top preferences and putting other unis that i probably have a better shot at. idk though, i cant tell if im competitive enough to possibly get an offer to UNSW next round
