I gave my pc to tech department for them to fix it. When I got my pc back THEY left a word document (not tax invoice) on my pc. Do they have the right; is it legal to do this????

What responsibility they have before law?

Please give serious answer

unauthorized insertion, deletion or modification of data is illegal. i guess it would come down to whether or not leaving it for them to fix implied such authorization.

to be honest i cant quite see the problem, what was on the document? from what ive seen it fairly given pc repair shops will go through your hdd, those guys always have the best porn stash.

it may be some document they use to test out printing?


i know i do that
if i'm fixing someone's comp together that hs printer. i normally do the MS Word =rand (3,3) or soemthing to test out printing.
