ISSC Bluetooth setup (1 Viewer)

If you bought one of those cheap bluetooth dongles on ebay, you prolly got this chipset.

BUT, alot of mobile phone software toolsuits need the Widcomm driver to use it, in particular the nokia and motorola tools.

I finally got a way to get it working so i'll post it here in case i forget.

Step 1

uninstall any previous driver.

Step 2

download the Widcomm driver here, and follow the instructions to patch it.

If still don't work

update the ISSC driver to the one that is made by Widcomm.

btw, out of curiosity, how many bluetooth facilities do u have?


I was thinking of buying one, but i couldn't think of where and when i'd actually use it.

for me it is just the phone, but $30 on ebay is worth it.

i'm planning to write code so i can use phone to control computer so i can use computer without keyboard near.

no software for Motorola phones

there is only remote control software for nokia, SE, siemens.
