Hello!

This spring, between 12th and 18th of May, European Students' Forum invite you in Iasi, Romania to join them on a fantastic trip to discover the digital world.

"Living in the Digital World" will provide a varied and exciting theme, one which encapsulates how information and communications technologies (ICTs) are impacting and shaping our lifestyles.

So, are you interested in discovering a new dimension of cultural understanding, focusing on human rights and liberties but from a digital point of view?
Let’s try to understand together the social challenges and implications that derive from the rapid progress of technologies, adapted to regional, national and local conditions.
Let’s dream that we follow closely an ambitious goal: to ensure that new developments in technology provide us with a real chance to turn the risk of a digital divide into "digital cohesion" and "digital opportunities"…..

And as human rights must be the framework for information societies, one main topic will be communication rights that are part of the human rights.
A human rights perspective on this subject implies that basic principles such as equal rights and non-discrimination are safeguarded on all levels of information and communication technology policies and action plans, internationally and nationally.

The facilities offered within the workshop (trainers/moderators, lodging in a youth hostel, 2 meals per day, festive dinner in one of the best restaurants of Iasi, local transportation) and the wonderful social program (including: sight-seeing, European night, visits to local institutions, wine tasting, disco, and many more) should represent a strong motivation for any European student !!!
