Is it "Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448" or "Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB"?

If it was "Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448" I'd choose Nvidia Because of the large ~$100 gap
Else I'd go for AMD since it's worth it the long run

Basically, the GTX 560 is a last-gen 1GB graphics card from Nvidia. The Radeon HD 7850 is a current-gen 2GB card from AMD.
If you plan to overclock the card, definitely go for the 7850 over the GTX560. The AMD cards have huge overclocking potential.
+ It comes down to personal preference and being happy with the software drivers.

If you want to look at other cards around your price range, look for the GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870. Both are very similar in price and performance. Try to get a non-reference card aswell, eg. Gigabyte, ASUS, EVGA, MSI, Sapphire.
