personally i think this concert is a bit of a rip off.

i mean in the press release they basically say his music is suited to small arenas and great outdoor festivals with good atmosphere (eg bluesfestival, splendour, falls) yet he is playing 15000 capcity stadiums...

$70 bucks is a bit rich considering donavan was just here and xavier is always here.

on the topic of xavier he has alot of potential but when i saw him he was pretty poor. all you can here live is his stomp box, and its not like jbt where it changes every song its just 1 2 3 4 on the stomp box. and it was the same live as on the cd the guitar is too low in the mix. he could put more energy into his voice. i knwo your gonna say its the mixing guys fault but xavier could have said somethign like other performers do, and its not just his live set where this occurs, its on his cd too.

nah ive seen xavier twice live now, once when i didnt even know who he was (+ he was still great) and the 2nd time when i was really in2 him

...i didnt see any probs with the mixing or anything. u think how hard it would be to play all the intsruments he plays.

i dont think he needs more energy in his voice either, that is just him, his lyrics are emotional and when he does raise up and sing with ALOT of emotion its awesome...

im sticking to what i said

well at falls all you could here was his stomp box on the beats, and then a whimper of singing and even less guitar. and i love his version of no woman no cry but its was aweful at falls

and although "solace" is a hell of a lot better i still think the guitar is way to low in the mix on that cd.

its a far way from cds where they have thicker instrumentation yet each instrument can be heard far more clearly
