Hey does anyone have any good quotes on Emma relating to Emma's development throughout the novel? It would be a great help, thanks

God, now there's a book hard to slug through for quotes >____>
Only one I could find off the top is an example of Emma in her 'reformed' stage:

"...but she had the consolation of knowing that her intentions were good...could Mr Knightley have been privy to all her attempts of assisting Jane Fairfax, could he even have seen into her heart, he would not, on this occasion, have found anything to reprove." (Chapter 45, page 367)

Do you also mean quotes from outside sources?

Edit: You might get more answers in the English Ext. 1 forum, too.
