Hi, does anyone know where ti buy good yest relatively inexpensive kimonos in sydney? or australia at all! And I don't mean ebay!

It is imperative I find one, but if a good alterantive such as a good pattern to make a kimono is out there I wouldn't mind knowing that either.

i dunno if ud be able to find one readily, have you tried the markets in Chinatown? They might have the style (and if not you can ask the stall owner where you might find the style) and they're usually quite inexpensive at the markets... umm theres also small kind of boutiquey shops around that sell cultural dress so mabye you might find something there? OOH also... with that "Memoirs of a Geisha" movie coming out soon, people like yourself will be looking more and more for kimono's so they might build up a market for them and be sold in more stores?? Just a thought
