john donne sunne rising - need techniques (1 Viewer)

besides the commanding and imperative tone at the begginning when he says "busie old foole unruly sunne" and the conceit "she is all states...", i don't have any other techniques. plz help out.

off the top of my head...I think I talked about "Goe" and "Call" as imperatives, again reinforcing his commanding tone, reflecting his self-centered nature towards his love.

Also at the end, I mentioned that Donne then proves his conceit through the unlikely paradox, claiming that the Sun needs to shine upon them, and in doing so, shines upon everyone else, again showing imperialistic arrogance and fierce individual expression of emotion.

I remember saying something about materialism in "both Indias of spice and myne" (the lover) in addition to what Minai said.
