hey im not sure on the tone of journey to the interior.
lyk yeh it warns that journey to the interior is inherently dangerous but whats the tone?

oh yeh and is universality a word? + what perspective thing issert when the text/narrator addresses you?
eg. in the red tree' darkness overcomes you'

I'd say it has a tone of caution.

it warns that taking a journey will change your life forever. and that, 'haunts' him. (i gave away all my english stuff so I'm doing this from memory.

I'd use something else instead of Journey to the Interior. A lot of people found it very difficult to analyse, even harder than The Town Where Time Stands Still.

for the inner journey it's best...yeah it is a bit harder than the frost poem but the town where time stands still annoys me, all that analysis work for what, three sentences.
