Firstly, I have absolutely no intention to scrutinise or depict any race in a negative way; I'm not interested in racial vilification. This question is just out of curiousity.

What have been the nationalities of people who came first in Japanese, the past few years?

Out of the 5 years I've been at my school, 3/5 were Chinese who were able to read and write, the other 2 were also Asian - one was Vietnamese and the other Korean, I think.

That's just my school though.

everyone in my jpnse conts are asian, #1 indonesian, #2 was a chinese who can read and write, #3 korean

my friend came first in the state in continuers and extension, she was pure aussie, although she did spend a year in japan and being a girl and highly motivated she made the most of the opportunity and hasn't looked back. me on the other hand hehehe
