Hi guys.

I have to give a presentation of computer hacking/blackmail/robbery/white collar crime, and I need the name of a larceny case that I learnt in legal studies. I am tearing my hair out trying to think of the stupid name!!

Heres the scenario (to the best of my memory): police set up this trap to catch a theif in the movies. they had a female police officer go in and place her handbag under the seat. The thief came up and took the bag, however, after finding nothing of value, he placed it back in its original position with nothing removed. They tried to charge him with larceny, but failed to prove that he intended to deprive her of her property...

Ring any bells?

Long live the lovely legal studies student! You'll make a great lawyer! :D

Yay! It was so frustrating!

Edit: It probably was somewhere Asqui, but I couldnt find it under the larceny sections, and didnt have the faintest idea of what it was called.
